About Studio C
Studio C is first and foremost the working studio of Elizabeth Carr. Elizabeth started Studio C as a place where she could creates and exhibits her artwork. She also uses the gallery to show local artist's work, mainly artists from Claremont and adjacent areas in South California.
Studio C exhibits a variety of artistic disciplines, Traditional Painting, Mixed Media Art, Collage Art, Enameling , Fused Glass Art, as well as, Handcrafted Ceramics, Original Watercolors and Jewelry. Elizabeth supports her local community of artists by exhibiting their artwork monthly.
Studio C Events
Studio C holds local artist exhibitions each month. You are sure to see new art in the gallery when you visit. The exhibitions start on the first Saturday of the each month. Claremont Art Walk is held on the first Saturday of each month from 6-9pm. Studio C also participates in various yearly events held in Claremont Village. Events such as the Wine Walk in September, the Village Venture in October and Studio C holds a yearly Christmas Boutique in November and December. The Christmas Boutique offers a large selection of art and handcrafted items suitable for gift giving.
Open Shows
Studio C also holds two Open Call Juried Shows, which are held normally in the months of February and September. These Open Shows are open to new artists and are juried by Elizabeth and other established artists.
